Maybe you like athletics, maybe you watch it on TV or maybe you aren’t interested in it at all. Nevertheless, you surely have seen somewhere photos of those two brothers who crossed the finish line together.
It was the last Triathlon race, and Jonathan Brownlee, tired, was staggering a few meters before the finish line. It was clear that he was not going to cross it. Then his brother Alistair reached Jonathan and stopped to help him reach the goal. Alistair could have gone for the title instead, but he didn’t.
The important thing for Alistair was not the medal. He didn’t think whether they would be penalized, as helping other athletes was prohibited. What mattered to him was that his brother reached the goal. And even more: that they cross the line together. And the truth is that in this way they made history.
What would the world look like if this gesture wasn’t something extraordinary?
The thing is that we are able to work separately, but together we can do much more. Such actions lead us to achieve more in life, to go further.
This is a basic principle of network marketing: together we achieve more, and by helping others you help yourself. Network marketing is not a race, competition or rivalry, and the sooner you accept that and follow the example of the two brothers, the closer you will be to the goal. Together with your colleagues.
