We were so right when we said it was going to be an epic event. There are such events that produce a special feeling in us from the very beginning, at the preparation stage. It’s a sensation of an extraordinary enthusiasm that will attract a lot of people.
This here has been an occasion when what happened exceeded significantly our expectations. A great surprise for us all. As we said before, we knew it was going to be great, but I think even “epic” is an underestimation. And the rest, everything we don’t get to describe in words, is a product of thousands of people who were longing to take part of this event.
We had a huge hall, which can seat about 1200 people. Even so, more than 1600 participants entered, and many people even stayed at the doors, there wasn’t enough room. It definitely is a new record: out of all OneLife events in Latin America, this has been so far the most outstanding because of its participation rate.
In addition to the impressive reception and the enormous desire to participate, the event was notable on its own merits as well. It was illuminated by the light of its stars: great leaders from all Latin America that contributed a lot to the event and in different and unique ways.
It was a really long day, but it seemed short because of all that joy, education, new information, panels, debates, discussions and stories. We have learned a lot from the minds of so many people, who have come a long and hard way to get where they are, sharing their experience with others.
